Promoting wellness and wellbeing among BAT Vietnam members

In response to World Welfare Week (June 21-25) and the overall “Wellness” theme of June, BAT Vietnam organized a series of activities to enhance and promote health and wellness among our employees.

The Wellness Day was one of the highlights of the activities, and our employees enjoyed a number of activities that covered many aspects of wellness such as a nutritional breakfast and lunch to raise nutritional awareness, a professional talk on “Energy management” to improve physical health, and a special experience with aromatherapy in the Perfume Workshop.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) was another standout. The program provides a confidential “one-stop shop” support system that is available 24/7 for all employees and their family members. The EAP’s extensive support covers work and personal challenges, practical information, and emotional support. This program provides employees with structured counseling and coaching, and life management services from financial and family care to general services and legal support.

Since the beginning of 2022, BAT Vietnam has launched multiple initiatives aimed at the health and fitness of employees such as Flexwork, No Meeting Day, Volunteer Day, Digital Rewards, and the Covid Care Program, showing the commitment to ensuring our people’s wellness and wellbeing remains a key priority.
